We are on the mend, thank the Lord! I am getting better each and every day and Chris had nothing but the common cold. This has been a much better week in the Andrews household. We are enjoying each day together and doing our best to wait patiently for Kate to arrive. I'm sure you can imagine that we are getting very anxious with being days away from her due date. We are ready and just waiting for that perfect day. I have been taking naps everyday and trying to rest up as best as I can yet I still find myself exhausted. I am up a minimum of 3 times a night for the restroom. So annoying. I am about to make a run to target to get me some depends! I guess this is preparing us for parenthood but it's so not as fun! Chris is killing me with his excitement building up. I find him playing with the stroller almost every night and last night I found him in Kate's closet checking out all her clothes. It is the cutest thing ever. I can hardly wait to see him hold his baby girl. She is pretty much the only thing on our minds these days...please keep us in your prayers for peace and patience as we wait to meet her for the first time. My emotions are running wild as the day draws near....almost there! :::sigh:::
Chris and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary on October 6th! We celebrated today by spending the entire afternoon and evening together, kid free. I found a killer deal for couples massages on Groupon and learned that if a deal looks too good to be true, it is. Things we've learned after 10 years of marriage; don't take yourself too seriously, laughter is the secret to a good time and chocolate makes everything ok.
