My Happy Place

Part 1

There are a few places on this Earth that I consider my "happy place".
They are places that make me feel alive, that soothe my soul, bring a smile to my face and when I'm there, I'm happy. Well, I'm happy most of the time but you get what I'm sayin'.

For those of you who know me or have paid attention to my domain name this will come as no surprise to you.
My first happy place is....

I don't know what it is about this place but when I'm here, I'm home.

When most of y'all think about Tennessee I know your first thought is this..

and this...

Yes, that's all there but what state doesn't have rednecks?

What I love about Tennessee is the moment I touch down, I can feel my heart do a sign of relief. It's like ::::ahh, I'm home::::

The land, the greenery, the people, the music, the food.
Oh the food! I think I just gained five pounds thinking about the food.
And the fruit tea!

The wide open spaces
The music
I love me some good country music.

Tennessee is my happy place. It is so different from where I'm from and I think that's why it's so attractive to me. There are wide open spaces, rolling green hills, friendly people who wave to you on their tractor as you drive by, hey y'alls and how you doin? It's just a completely different life from the Orange County, California bubble that I live in. I love it and crave it. I also have awesome family members who live there that I love and miss so much.

I also love that my husband loves this place and has dreams of calling it home one day. We'll see what God has in store for our little family.

It's a big and beautiful world out there and Tennessee is at the top of our list.

Where are all my Tennesseans at?
I love y'all...

::more of my happy places comin' soon::

Enjoy your next trip!
