Ok, Lord. You can come now.

I think my life is complete. Tonight I experienced bliss in a waffle. I had no idea that this place existed until last night when my sister tweeted a picture of a s'mores waffle and a killer milkshake. I was laying in bed and instantly looked this place up on my iTouch and became a fan on facebook and told my husband that I was going there tomorrow. There is nothing that comes between me and food. Ask my man.
Tonight the momma and I drove to Old Town Orange and got in line and waited to order. It wasn't a hard decision for me only because I had my heart set on the s'mores waffle and the mint chocolate shake.
BUT now that I've had a taste, I have to go back and try everything.

The mastermind behind all the recipes, genius!

A little bit of everything..
from fried chicken waffles to creme brulee and berries waffle

The line. This was a light line compared to lunch and dinner time..

Our order.
Oh dear Jesus, please tell me there is a Bruxies in Heaven!

Nutella & Bananas with Sweet Cream

S'mores, rich Belgian chocolate, graham cracker & toasted marshmallow

Please excuse the chocolate outlining my mouth, I could not eat this fast enough!

Momma eating hers like a true lady

The littlest fan, she ate the last 3 bites of mine!

Y'all this place is awesome. The waffles are light, crisp and soo delicious. Every bite was gooey, chocolatey and warm marshmallowey. I don't even think those are words but that's how good it was. There are no words to describe it.  They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And are perfect for a mid day snack as well as a dessert or late night treat.
Not a waffle fan? They also serve killer sundaes, frozen custard, shakes, floats, old fashioned cane sugar sodas and Peet's coffee!

The mint chocolate shake was unlike any shake I have had. All homemade and rich thick chocolate covered the inside of the cup and was topped off with homemade whipped cream. You will most likely see me in my fat pants all week as I recover from this sugar rush. TO DIE FOR!

I am hooked and will be back shortly! Thank you Bruxies for this extremely dangerous addiction! I guess it's better than being addicted to some of the other things out there but I can already hear my thighs crying and telling me to back away.

And seriously Lord, you can come now. Come before I outgrow my fat pants, please!

Oh and if you want to drool over this goodness then follow them on Twitter and follow them on Facebook

Love you Bruxie, my new BFF

A healthier me.

Remember my Trust your gut  post?I feel like a whole new girl since I wrote that a month ago.  So many things have been confirmed and I feel like my happy healthy self again.
All because of two things; 1. The gallbladder cleanse that I posted about.  Literally saved my gallbladder and my sanity.  No more stomach pain! And I can drink wine and margaritas without pain again! 🙌🏼
2. I found out that I have a sensitivity to gluten. It's still a mystery to me as to how I developed this but all I know is that when I do have gluten my joints hurt, I get awful headaches and an upset stomach along with bloating.
Back to my first post about this... I took a "before picture" thinking I was going to 5-10 pounds and then post my "after" picture. 😂😂😂
Truth is, there are still plenty of calories in gluten free food. The other truth is I'm 80-20 gluten free. I still enjoy a few non-gluten free treats here and there (and then pay for it later).
I love food. I reward myself wit…

Homemade Pop Tarts

To be honest, I’m not a fan of the boxed pop tarts but homemade ones make me weak in the knees. Our local coffee shops here in Tennessee sell them and they’re my guilty pleasure.  I decided to take a quiet Tuesday morning and make some with my sweet boy.
Here’s what I did..

Trust your gut

If you've followed me on Instagram for a while you've seen that I've been struggling with pain, nausea and some other lovely side effects every single time I put something in my mouth. 😭I've been in the ER, to a specialist and was about to go in for a hidascan before I canceled it 20 hours before I was to go in.  I was uneasy about the scan in the first place. I knew it was going to show issues with my gallbladder. I had every symptom. I also knew that the next step after the scan was surgery to remove my gallbladder. I know it's an organ that isn't quite necessary but being a mom with 4 small babes, surgery wasnt the best option.  I mean it would be nice to have an excuse to lay around for a bit but let's be real, that wouldn't even happen. 🤦🏼‍♀️ #momlife I felt this super strong thing come over me the morning before to scan telling me to cancel it and change my lifestyle a bit.  I love food y'all. That's no surprise. I have 17 pounds to lose to…
